In
1993, Gary and Robert B. Pamplin, Jr. started together with the purchase
of six Christian Supply stores in the Portland, Oregon area. They then
added Pamplin Music Company, Pamplin Entertainment, Pamplin Distribution,
and Pamplin Broadcasting. By
2001, Christian Supply had expanded to twenty-one stores, Pamplin Music
and Distribution was the fourth largest Christian Music Company in the
country, and Pamplin Broadcasting was operating six radio stations. During
the first eight years, the company experienced extra ordinary growth. In
March 2001, Gary made the decision to sell his stock and retire from Pamplin
Communications so he could focus on other projects. Paul
Scott, son-in-law to Robert B. Pamplin, Jr., was named as Randall's successor. Read Articles:

Gary
received a Dove Award as Executive Producer of the Vestal & Friends
Album. The award was given for the song, Angel Band, by Vestal Goodman
and George Jones.
